By Eddie Betts

Illustrated by Jesse White and Bridget Gillard

MY PEOPLE is the second book by AFL star Eddie Betts, which aims to educate Australians on Aboriginal culture.

What’s up? My name is Eddie and I’m here to say:
Our First Nations people paved the way.
I'm proud of my culture, it's who I am.
Let's learn together with a little homie jam.

Following on from the success of Eddie's first book My Kind join Eddie and his ‘kindness crew’ of lil’ homies as they immerse themselves in Aboriginal culture.

Rap and rhyme the text out aloud to help your own lil’ homies read with confidence.

Eddie Betts' second book for children, is all about sharing and educating kids on Aboriginal culture and our First Nations people.

As a Wirangu/Kokatha/Guburn man, Eddie wants all kids to be educated and have an understanding of his Culture - dating back 65,000 years. Eddie developed this book as an educational resource to use with young children, to start conversations about our First Nations People to hopefully combat racism and bias Aboriginal People face every day.
